“Family run business, pick up at the dock gate by the ship at time advised, and group of 5 transported in a 7 seater 4x4 to their farm in the mountains, 30 mins away. Weather idilic, no wind, thick snow covering and scenery like a Xmas card scene. However you must have suitable winter clothing, many layers as temperature was -25c at the farm. Blankets provided for the 40 min sleigh ride and not cold. We were shown around the stables and sheep pens afterwards and then it was hot coffee and buns as advertised. “The Viking farm was very informative but we only had about 20 mins to look around - which was fine as there wasn't much to see to be honest. I was expecting more exploration and hands on activities. Our guide was brilliant on the boat trip which was interesting and with beautiful scenery. The Viking planet was very small and totally digital. Really expensive for what was in there and we were done in about 40 mins. Again, I was hoping for more. Quite a disappointing day out really”

“What an experience! We were driven to a Norwegian farm and got to see the sheep and learn how they work the farm. We took a horse driven ride for a few miles and saw some amazing countryside.
