“The Aurora cuisine cruise was just okay, I would say. We weren’t very impressed with the food or food selections for the dinner. I was kind of surprised that they served an appetizer and entree, both fish dishes. There were no sides served with the dinner which I also thought was weird; it was just a piece of fish. No northern lights were seen, but we knew that was going to be hit or miss. The boat didn’t travel far enough away from the city lights to really see if the northern lights were present. On the plus side, the staff was very sweet and knowledgeable. Overall, it was just…”

Jørgen took us (a group of 7) to a beautiful place away from the street with a great view where we got to enjoy the lights as he set up the most picturesque fireplace where he served his tasty, selfmade fish stew ,bacalau‘. After a while, clouds were moving in and we quickly packed up the camp to drive to a second spot with clear skies where we enjoyed hot drinks on a frozen lake! Absolutely wonderful experience, despite the Northern lights activity not being too high but we could observe the light version throughout the entire evening…”

“The experience was such excellent. The tour guide Monika and the minibus driver were so professional and experienced. It was a snow day in Tromso, cloudy everywhere . The possibility to see northern light is very very low. Monika and the driver drove more than 5 hours all the way to Finland and finally found clear sky and we were all very excited to see the amazing northern light. We really appreciate Monika and the driver's efforts.”

“Lots of reindeers to feed buckets of pellets to. Some were a bit rowdy though with imposing antlers that were close to peoples’ faces so not for nervous people/children. Three course meal served in plastic bowls/plates was ok served in large hut with log fire. Short talk by Sami reindeer herder interesting. Northern lights mention in the title is misleading as you simply have a chance to see them because it’s dark and you are outside - nothing more than that. Overall enjoyable.”
