We were picked up at our hotel in Bergen via van and driven about an hour on a very scenic ride to Vikanes. From there we were geared up and got ready for our departure. They provided high quality rain and cold gear which nicely protected us from the elements. We were with Bjørn on the pontoon boat for about 3 hours. The boat was very comfortable. Bjørn is a great guide and provided us with a historical perspective starting with the Vikings and included many components…”

“The minibus was very comfortable and Geir was an excellent driver and a very informative guide. Adding personal experiences to his commentary gave more insight into the Norwegian way of life. He left us at the Viking Village but gave us very clear instructions for boarding the boat for the fjord cruise and the Flam and Bergen trains. A guided tour of the Viking Village is included in the price. It is optional but well worth joining as you only have a limited time in the village. The boat was a lot bigger than I expected. There was plenty of inside seating but, as it was a fine, sunny day…”
